Title: Sexual Autonomy for the Individual & Community
Author: Burnstein, Jules
Advisor: Miller, Jerry
Department: Haverford College. Dept of Philosophy
Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: In my thesis, I write about sex and community. I explore Michael Warner's vision for a sexually autonomous society. Using Michel Foucault, Maxine Green and other feminist theorists, I challenge the solitude of Warner's sexual autonomy and imagine how we can have good sex AND be part of a community.
